Please visit BooksForSchools.ca, which hosts digital editions of the BC Books for Schools and Indigenous Books for Schools collections. The books in this now-digital database have been thoughtfully reviewed by one or more BC educators in terms of connection to K–12 curriculum, appropriateness of reading level, and suitability of content for the K–12 classroom.

All the evaluators who work on the annotations in the Indigenous Books for Schools collection identify as Indigenous. Our Indigenous education consultant Jackie Lever, a Métis educator, has developed a special worksheet to evaluate books for authentic Indigenous Voice.
