CELEBRATING 50+ YEARS! At the forefront of modern book publishing in BC, Heritage House grew out of the success of the 1969 bestseller Wagon Road North, a book lauded by the Encyclopedia of British Columbia as “the most notable BC-published book” of its day. With roots in BC history and outdoor recreation, Heritage House today publishes authors of many backgrounds and genres, focusing on historical, social, political and recreational subjects including pictorial and regional guidebooks. Their Amazing Stories series features compact Canadiana spanning a wide range of subjects. Recently introduced, the Wandering Fox imprint specializes in contemporary fiction for young readers.
