Tonight at Pulp Fiction

Grant Buday launches his brand-new Stranger On a Strange Island: From Main Street to Mayne Island, THIS Thursday, July 28 at Pulpfiction Books , 2422 Main Street off Broadway. This event runs from 7 to 9, and features a reading from the author. Admission is free.

Stranger On a Strange Island, number 20 in the long-running Transmontanus series, is Buday’s account of leaving Bohemian Vancouver and its cosmopolitan rents behind for affordable Mayne Island. Since his mid-1990s move, Buday has made only occasional forays into his old neighbourhood.
