for Teacher-Librarians

The ABPBC loves teacher-librarians. We believe that a strong school library, staffed by qualified teacher-librarians is essential to the educational and social health of our children.

Over the years, the ABPBC has produced a series of catalogues for educators, library wholesalers and retailers working in the educational field. All the titles in our BC Books for BC Schools (2008/09) (2009/10) and our Canadian Aboriginal Book for Schools (2008/09) (2009/10) catalogues have been selected from publisher submissions by teacher-librarians. The titles have been chosen for their relevance to school curricula and are annotated by professional evaluators. To obtain print copies, please email your request to our office admin@books.bc.ca.
