BC Books Online marks the first ever collaboration between publishers and libraries with the objective to deliver digital content to an entire province. There has been considerable interest in our progress from across the country and internationally. The project will undoubtedly serve as a model for similar initiatives in other jurisdictions.

Job Posting: Arsenal Pulp Press Seeks Production Manager

Arsenal Pulp Press of Vancouver seeks a full-time production manager to oversee the design and production of its printed and digital books and other materials. Duties include the co-ordination of all aspects of production; the design of book covers and interiors, catalogues, and press materials; and working with freelancers and printers. Applicants should be outgoing, self-motivated, open-minded, and in synch with our indie-culture style. Proficiency in Creative Suite (Mac and/or PC, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), Acrobat Pro, is a plus, as is previous experience in book production.
